Kitchens & Laundries Yes — the Flow 400 SlimLine can be used with kitchen and laundry fixtures. For reliable operation, macerator pumps should only receive normal wastewater. Do not allow food scraps, cooking fats, oils, grease or foreign objects to enter the pump. Kitchen sinks should have a suitable waste strainer fitted. Do not connect a food waste disposal unit unless an appropriate filtration system is installed. Important Installation Points For the best performance: Greywater pipework should have approximately a 2% fall toward the pump Showers generally require around 150mm of available height to achieve adequate gravity fall Install the supplied non-return valve directly at the pump discharge Complete vertical discharge pipework before long horizontal runs Use sweeping bends or 2 x 45° bends where practical Keep the pump accessible for future servicing Unused inlet connections must remain correctly sealed We strongly recommend installation by a qualified plumber or appropriate trade professional. Not sure about your installation? Call us. We are available 7 days a week and are always happy to talk through your proposed setup before you purchase. 0800 110 063 Simple Preventative Maintenance Looking after a macerator is easy and can significantly reduce the chance of residue build-up and blockages. Every 3–4 months: Run a Sugar Soap cleaning solution through the pump, allow it time to work, then flush thoroughly with warm water. Never put the following through a macerator: Wet wipes — including “flushable” wipes Tampons or sanitary products Nappies Paper towels Food Cooking fats, oils or grease Rags or cloth Cotton buds Excessive hair Foreign objects Boiling water Strong acids or aggressive drain cleaners Human waste, toilet paper and normal household wastewater only. 24-Month GreenLeaf Warranty Every GreenLeaf Flow 400 SlimLine includes a 24-month return-to-base warranty for residential use. The warranty covers manufacturing faults under normal use when the pump has been correctly installed and operated. The warranty does not cover damage caused by: Blockages or foreign objects Wet wipes or sanitary products Food, fats, grease or oils Incorrect installation Missing or incorrectly installed non-return valve External water or weather exposure Boiling water or unsuitable chemicals Misuse or commercial applications Why Buy GreenLeaf? With a 500W motor, up to 135 L/min flow, 8 metres vertical lift and 80 metres horizontal discharge, the Flow 500 Classic is designed to handle almost any normal residential bathroom, kitchen or laundry installation. For customers wanting one pump that can do almost everything, this is the GreenLeaf all-rounder. One Pump. Almost Any Domestic Wastewater Fixture. The Flow 500 Classic can handle one toilet plus multiple domestic greywater fixtures, including: Toilet Shower Bath Basin / vanity Kitchen sink Laundry tub Washing machine Dishwasher Bidet Other normal domestic greywater fixtures Ideal for: Bathrooms Ensuites Kitchens Laundries Sleepouts Tiny homes Cabins Renovations Garage conversions Additional bathrooms Plumbing where conventional gravity drainage is difficult One toilet only may be connected to each macerator pump. What's New With the Flow 500 Classic? The new Flow 500 builds on the pump that has been the backbone of the GreenLeaf range for years. More Power The upgraded 500W motor provides strong, dependable performance across a wide range of installations. 135 L/min Flow High wastewater handling capacity makes the Flow 500 particularly well suited to installations with multiple connected fixtures. Up to 8m Vertical / 80m Horizontal Giving you excellent flexibility when the nearest conventional sewer connection isn't close to where you need it. 90°C Maximum Water Temperature Improved temperature capability makes the Flow 500 an excellent all-round choice for bathroom, kitchen and laundry applications. Manual Override Switch Back by popular demand. Alongside normal automatic operation, the Flow 500 Classic includes a manual override function, allowing the pump to be activated manually when required. It's a simple feature — but one we've always found incredibly useful for testing, servicing and troubleshooting. Bathrooms, Kitchens & Laundries The Flow 500 Classic isn't limited to bathrooms. Its multiple greywater connections make it suitable for a wide variety of normal domestic wastewater applications, including kitchen sinks, washing machines and dishwashers. For kitchen use, always fit a suitable sink strainer and prevent food scraps, cooking fats, oils and grease from entering the pump. A macerator pump is not a food waste disposal system. Food waste disposal units should not be connected unless an appropriate filtration system prevents solid material from entering the macerator. Important Installation Points Correct installation is essential for reliable operation. Greywater pipework should have approximately a 2% fall toward the pump Showers generally require around 150mm clearance to achieve sufficient gravity fall Allow a minimum 200mm between the toilet and rear wall for the Flow 500 Classic installation Install the supplied non-return valve directly at the pump discharge Complete vertical discharge pipework before long horizontal runs Use sweeping bends or 2 x 45° bends rather than tight 90° bends where practical Keep the pump accessible for future servicing Ensure all unused inlets are correctly sealed We strongly recommend installation by a qualified plumber or appropriate trade professional. Unsure whether it'll work? Call us before you buy. We are available 7 days a week and are happy to talk through your proposed installation. 0800 110 063 Simple Preventative Maintenance A little preventative maintenance goes a long way with any macerator pump. Every 3–4 months Run a suitable Sugar Soap cleaning solution through the pump, allow it time to work, then flush thoroughly with warm water. This helps reduce soap, waste and residue build-up inside the pump and pipework. Never put through a macerator: Wet wipes — including “flushable” wipes Tampons or sanitary products Nappies Paper towels Rags or cloth Cotton buds Food scraps Cooking fats Oils or grease Excessive hair Foreign objects Boiling water Strong acids Aggressive drain-cleaning chemicals Human waste, toilet paper and normal household wastewater only. 24-Month GreenLeaf Warranty Every GreenLeaf Flow 500 Classic comes with a 24-month return-to-base warranty for residential use. The warranty covers manufacturing faults under normal use when the pump has been correctly installed and operated. The warranty does not cover damage caused by: Blockages Wet wipes or sanitary products Foreign objects Food waste Fats, oils or grease Incorrect installation Missing or incorrectly installed non-return valve Boiling water Aggressive chemicals External water or flooding Weather exposure Misuse Commercial applications Indoor use only The Flow 500 Classic is designed for indoor residential installation. External installation is at the owner/installer's risk and requires a suitable weather-tight enclosure protecting the pump from rain, flooding, condensation and all external water. Why GreenLeaf? GreenLeaf Flow 550 Plus Macerator Pump FREE NZ SHIPPING | 24-MONTH WARRANTY | 7-DAY NZ SUPPORT Strong performance. Smarter service access. With a powerful 550W motor, up to 135 L/min flow, 8.5 metres vertical lift and up to 85 metres horizontal discharge, the Flow 550 Plus is suitable for a huge range of domestic bathroom, kitchen and laundry installations. Connect Almost Any Domestic Wastewater Fixture The Flow 550 Plus can handle one toilet plus compatible domestic greywater fixtures, including: Toilet Shower Bath Basin / vanity Bidet Kitchen sink Laundry tub Washing machine Dishwasher Other compatible domestic greywater fixtures It is ideal for bathrooms, ensuites, kitchens, laundries, sleepouts, cabins, tiny homes, renovations and additional plumbing installations where conventional gravity drainage isn't practical. One toilet only may be connected to each macerator pump. See the FLOW 550 Plus in action! Watch Video of 550 Plus here - Why Choose the Flow 550 Plus? Dedicated Service Access The standout feature of the Flow 550 Plus is its one-piece repair panel. This provides much easier access to the cutting chamber area should inspection, servicing or removal of a foreign object ever be required. It's the type of feature you may not think about when buying a macerator — but you'll appreciate it if the pump ever needs attention. Always disconnect the pump from the electrical supply before opening, inspecting or servicing the unit. Actual performance depends on pipe diameter, lift, distance, bends and overall installation layout. Bathrooms, Kitchens & Laundries The Flow 550 Plus is not just a toilet pump. It can receive normal domestic wastewater from compatible bathroom, kitchen and laundry fixtures, making it an excellent solution when you need to create plumbing somewhere that conventional gravity drainage would be difficult or expensive. For kitchen installations, always use a suitable sink strainer and keep food waste, cooking fats, grease and oils out of the pump. A macerator is not a food waste disposal unit. Important Installation Points Correct installation is essential for good macerator performance. Greywater fixtures must drain naturally by gravity toward the pump. When connecting a shower to a side inlet, allow approximately 150mm between the shower waste outlet and finished floor level to achieve adequate gravity fall. The supplied non-return valve must be installed at the pump discharge. If the discharge needs to rise vertically, complete the vertical section first before commencing the horizontal run. Use sweeping bends or 2 x 45° bends rather than tight 90° elbows wherever practical. The Flow 550 Plus requires approximately 205mm minimum clearance from the toilet outlet to the rear wall for installation. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified plumber or appropriate trade professional. Not sure whether it will work? Call us first. We are available 7 days a week and are happy to talk through your proposed installation before you purchase. 0800 110 063 Simple Preventative Maintenance Macerator pumps require very little routine maintenance when they're installed correctly and used properly. Every 3–4 months Run a diluted Sugar Soap solution through a connected fixture, allow it a short time to help loosen soap and organic build-up, then flush the system thoroughly with clean warm water. Never use boiling water. Periodically check the flexible connections, clamps, non-return valve and discharge pipework for leaks or deterioration, and keep the carbon breather unobstructed. Never Put These Through Your Macerator Wet wipes — even those labelled “flushable” — sanitary products, nappies, paper towels, rags, cotton buds, food scraps, oils, fats, grease, excessive hair, foreign objects, strong acids, solvents or aggressive drain cleaners should never enter the pump. Human waste, toilet paper and normal domestic wastewater only. 24-Month GreenLeaf Warranty Every GreenLeaf Flow 550 Plus is backed by our 24-month return-to-base residential warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing faults arising under normal residential use and correct installation. It does not cover blockages, foreign objects, wet wipes, sanitary products, food waste, oils or fats, unsuitable chemicals, incorrect installation, failure to correctly install the supplied non-return valve, external water/weather damage or commercial use. Why GreenLeaf? Macerator pumps are what we do. There is a big difference between buying a pump online and buying a pump from people who actually understand macerators. GreenLeaf has 20+ years of hands-on macerator experience, and our team is available 7 days a week to help with: Product selection • Installation questions • Troubleshooting • Parts • Servicing • Warranty support We don't disappear once the pump has been delivered. GreenLeaf FORCE 700 Max Macerator Pump FREE NZ SHIPPING | 24-MONTH WARRANTY | 7-DAY NZ SUPPORT More power. More distance. Maximum versatility. The GreenLeaf FORCE 700 Max marks the step up into our high-performance FORCE Series. Designed for longer pipe runs, greater vertical lift and more demanding residential installations, the Force 700 Max combines a powerful 700W motor with up to 150 L/min flow, 11 metres vertical lift and an impressive 110 metres horizontal discharge. It gives you serious pumping performance while retaining the versatility of a conventional residential macerator — making it an excellent choice for larger bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, remote fixtures and installations where the sewer connection is significantly further away. Maximum performance without moving to a grinder. Connect Almost Any Domestic Wastewater Fixture The Force 700 Max can handle one toilet plus compatible domestic greywater fixtures, including: Toilet Shower Bath Basin / vanity Bidet Kitchen sink Laundry tub Washing machine Dishwasher Other compatible domestic greywater fixtures The pump operates automatically as wastewater enters the unit and is designed for human waste, toilet paper and normal domestic wastewater from bathroom, kitchen and laundry fixtures. One toilet only may be connected to each macerator pump. Why Choose the FORCE 700 Max? 700W High-Performance Motor More power for installations that require greater pumping capability. 150 L/min Maximum Flow Higher wastewater handling capacity than our Flow Series models, making the Force 700 Max an excellent choice for larger or more demanding multi-fixture installations. Up to 11m Vertical Lift Ideal where wastewater needs to be pumped significantly upward before reaching the main drainage system. Up to 110m Horizontal Discharge Provides outstanding flexibility where the nearest suitable sewer connection is a long distance from the new bathroom, kitchen or laundry. 90°C Maximum Water Temperature Well suited to normal domestic bathroom, kitchen and laundry applications where warmer wastewater may be encountered. Pipe diameter, lift, distance, bends and installation layout all affect actual performance. Bathrooms, Kitchens & Laundries The Force 700 Max isn't limited to bathroom installations. It can receive compatible wastewater from kitchens, laundries and other normal domestic greywater fixtures, making it particularly useful where several fixtures need to be installed some distance from the existing sewer connection. For kitchen applications, always use a suitable sink strainer. Do not allow food scraps, cooking fats, oils or grease to enter the pump. A macerator is not a food waste disposal system. Built for the More Difficult Installations The Force 700 Max is particularly suited to situations such as: Longer discharge pipe runs Greater vertical rises Bathrooms located well away from existing drainage Basement or below-drain installations Remote sleepouts and cabins Large ensuite or bathroom installations Combined bathroom / laundry layouts Renovations where conventional drainage would be difficult or expensive If your installation is pushing the limits of a standard macerator, this is where the FORCE Series starts to make sense. Important Installation Points Correct installation is critical, particularly on longer pumping runs. All connected greywater fixtures must drain naturally by gravity toward the pump Allow adequate pipe fall into the macerator When connecting a shower to a side inlet, allow approximately 150mm between the shower waste outlet and finished floor level Install the supplied non-return valve at the pump discharge Where vertical lift is required, complete the vertical section before the horizontal run Use sweeping bends or 2 x 45° bends rather than tight 90° elbows Every bend introduces additional resistance and reduces available pumping performance Keep the pump accessible for future servicing Keep all unused inlet connections correctly sealed Allow approximately 205mm minimum clearance between the toilet outlet and rear wall for installation. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified plumber or appropriate trade professional. Planning a long or difficult run? Call us before ordering. With higher-performance installations, factors such as vertical lift, pipe diameter, horizontal distance and number of bends matter. We are available 7 days a week and can help you select the correct GreenLeaf pump for the job. 0800 110 063 Simple Preventative Maintenance The Force 700 Max requires very little routine maintenance when correctly installed and used. GreenLeaf FORCE 800 Grinder Pro LIGHT-COMMERCIAL GRADE GRINDER MACERATOR 800W POWER | 170 L/MIN | DEDICATED GRINDER | ELECTRONIC CONTROL FREE NZ SHIPPING | 24-MONTH RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY | 7-DAY NZ SUPPORT Heavy-duty grinding. High-flow performance. Greater protection. The GreenLeaf FORCE 800 Grinder Pro is our premium light-commercial grade grinder macerator, designed for demanding residential, rental, accommodation and selected light-commercial installations where reliability, wastewater capacity and additional protection against accidental foreign objects matter. At its heart is a powerful 800W motor, dedicated grinder system and an impressive 170 L/min maximum flow. The Force 800 Grinder Pro can pump wastewater up to 9 metres vertically or up to 90 metres horizontally, while its electronic control system, pressure/air-switch activation and serviceable internal design set it apart from a conventional macerator. If you want our serious grinder option, this is it. Our #1 Recommendation for Rentals, Airbnb & Holiday Homes One of the biggest advantages of the Force 800 Grinder Pro becomes obvious when the bathroom is being used by people other than the owner: You can't always control what somebody else flushes down the toilet. In your own home, you can make sure everyone understands what should and shouldn't go through a macerator. In a: Rental property Airbnb or short-stay property Holiday home Guest accommodation Shared property Staff bathroom Office Workshop Salon Studio Other higher-use or shared-use installation you simply don't have the same control. That's why the Force 800 Grinder Pro is our #1 GreenLeaf recommendation for rental and accommodation properties where additional blockage protection is a priority. Greater Protection Against Accidental Foreign Objects The best chance in our current range of avoiding an accidental blockage. No macerator or grinder pump is blockage-proof. However, the Force 800 incorporates a dedicated grinder system, giving it a much greater ability to process material entering the toilet than a conventional macerator cutting system. If an inappropriate object is accidentally flushed, the Grinder Pro gives you the greatest level of protection within our current GreenLeaf range and the best chance of grinding, breaking down and passing that material through the discharge system rather than it immediately creating a blockage. This is particularly valuable in rental and accommodation properties where you cannot supervise every user. Important This additional protection does not mean foreign objects are safe to flush. Wet wipes, sanitary products, paper towels, rags and other prohibited materials must still never intentionally be put through the pump. Foreign objects can still jam or damage any grinder system, and blockages or damage caused by prohibited materials are not manufacturing faults. The grinder provides an additional level of protection — it is not permission to misuse the pump and should not be relied upon as a failsafe. It is simply an added feature designed to assist if an accidental foreign object enters the system. Foreign objects, wipes, sanitary products and other prohibited materials must still never be flushed through the pump, and any blockage or damage caused by these materials is not covered under warranty. Please refer to our Warranty Policy for full terms and exclusions. Light-Commercial Grade Grinder Performance The Force 800 Grinder Pro isn't simply a standard macerator with a bigger motor. It combines: 800W MotorDedicated Grinder System170 L/min Maximum FlowElectronic Circuit-Board ControlPressure / Air-Switch ActivationHeavy-Duty Serviceable Internal Design The result is a substantially more capable wastewater-processing platform for customers wanting greater protection, high flow and a more advanced pump than a conventional residential macerator. The Force 800 Grinder Pro is ideally positioned for demanding residential, rental, accommodation and selected light-commercial applications. See the FORCE 800 GRINDER PRO in action! Watch Video of Pro 800 here - Dedicated Grinder System The biggest difference is right in the name: GRINDER PRO The Force 800 Grinder Pro uses a dedicated grinder system designed to aggressively process toilet waste before it enters the discharge pipework. This makes it particularly attractive where: The property is occupied by tenants Guests regularly use the bathroom Several people share the facilities The owner isn't always present Reliability is particularly important Additional blockage protection is a priority The customer simply wants the heavier-duty grinder option For many landlords and property owners, this feature alone is a strong reason to step up to the Grinder Pro. Massive 170 L/min Maximum Flow Up to 170 litres per minute The Force 800 provides serious wastewater-handling capacity, making it particularly well suited to installations where several connected fixtures may discharge into the pump. Performance 800W Motor170 L/min Maximum Flow9m Maximum Vertical Lift90m Maximum Horizontal Discharge Maximum vertical and horizontal figures are separate maximum ratings and are not simultaneously achievable. Actual pumping performance depends on: Vertical Rise • Horizontal Run • Pipe Diameter • Number of Bends • Installation Layout Connect an Entire Bathroom — and More The Force 800 Grinder Pro can accept wastewater from one toilet plus compatible greywater fixtures, including: Toilet Shower Bath Basin / vanity Bidet Kitchen sink Laundry tub Washing machine Dishwasher Other compatible greywater fixtures The pump is designed for human waste, toilet paper and normal wastewater from compatible bathroom, kitchen and laundry fixtures. One toilet only per pump. Maximum incoming wastewater temperature: 50°C. This temperature limit must be considered when connecting appliances such as washing machines or dishwashers. Advanced Electronic Control The Force 800 steps beyond the simpler switching systems used in conventional macerators. It incorporates a pressure / air-switch system together with electronic circuit-board control. The pump operates automatically, activating when wastewater reaches the required level inside the unit. This more advanced control platform complements the Grinder Pro's premium and light-commercial grade positioning. Designed to Be Serviced — Not Thrown Away A premium pump should be repairable. The Force 800 features a large top-access service area, giving a trained technician access to important internal components. The service layout allows access to: Pressure / air-switch system Accessible blockage areas Motor assembly Electronic control system The motor and control assembly can also be accessed or replaced without unnecessarily dismantling the complete plumbing installation. At GreenLeaf, we don't treat macerator pumps as disposable products. We provide NZ-based spare parts, technical assistance, servicing and a genuine repair pathway. A tenant, guest or visitor may not understand macerator systems. They may flush something they shouldn't. The Force 800 cannot guarantee an accidental foreign object won't cause a blockage — no pump can. What its dedicated grinder gives you is the best chance within our current range of processing an accidental foreign object and moving it through the system before it creates a blockage. That extra protection can make the additional investment worthwhile for: Rentals • Airbnb • Holiday Homes • Guest Accommodation • Shared Bathrooms It's additional peace of mind where you don't have complete control over every person using the toilet. Even a Grinder Has Rules The Force 800 gives you more protection. It does not mean anything can be flushed. Never intentionally put the following through the pump: Wet wipes — including those labelled “flushable” Tampons Sanitary products Nappies Paper towels Rags or cloth Cotton buds Dental floss Food waste Cooking fats Oils Grease Foreign objects Strong acids Alkalis Solvents Aggressive drain cleaners Human waste, toilet paper and suitable wastewater only. If something inappropriate is accidentally flushed, the grinder provides a greater chance of processing it. It does not make prohibited materials acceptable to flush. Kitchen & Laundry Capable The Force 800 Grinder Pro isn't limited to bathroom installations. It can receive suitable wastewater from compatible kitchen and laundry fixtures, provided incoming wastewater remains within its 50°C maximum temperature rating. For kitchen installations, use an appropriate sink strainer. Never allow: Food Waste • Cooking Fats • Oils • Grease to enter the pump. A grinder macerator is not a kitchen food-waste disposal system. Important Installation Requirements Correct installation is critical to reliable operation. Greywater fixtures must drain naturally by gravity toward the pump Maintain adequate fall on inlet pipework Allow approximately 150mm between the shower waste outlet and finished floor level when connecting through a lower side inlet Install the supplied non-return valve directly at the discharge Complete any required vertical rise before the long horizontal run Prefer 2 x 45° bends rather than tight 90° elbows Minimise unnecessary bends and restrictions Keep the pump accessible for servicing Correctly seal all unused connections Allow approximately 253mm minimum between the toilet outlet and rear wall Professional installation by a qualified plumber or appropriate trade professional is strongly recommended. Simple Preventative Maintenance The Grinder Pro requires very little routine maintenance when correctly installed and used. Every 3–4 Months Run a diluted non-corrosive Sugar Soap solution through a connected fixture. Allow it a short time to help loosen soap and organic build-up, then flush the system thoroughly with clean warm water. Never use boiling water. Periodically check: Flexible connections Clamps Non-return valve Discharge pipework Power lead Carbon breather and ensure everything remains secure, dry and unobstructed. Residential & Light-Commercial Applications The Force 800 Grinder Pro is designed for demanding residential, rental, accommodation and selected light-commercial applications. Suitable applications can include: Residential bathrooms Rental properties Airbnb and short-stay accommodation Holiday homes Guest facilities Offices Staff amenities Workshops Salons Studios Other appropriate shared-use facilities Light-commercial grade does not mean continuous-duty or industrial operation. Commercial environments can vary enormously in frequency of use, number of users and wastewater volume. For higher-use installations, contact GreenLeaf before purchasing so we can review the fixtures, usage and pipework and confirm whether the Force 800 is appropriate for the job. Warranty & Support Residential Installations The GreenLeaf Force 800 Grinder Pro includes a 24-month return-to-base warranty for residential use. The warranty covers manufacturing faults arising under normal use and correct installation. The warranty does not cover damage caused by: Blockages Foreign objects Wet wipes or sanitary products Food waste, oils, fats or grease Aggressive chemicals Incorrect installation Unsuitable pipework Incorrect non-return valve installation External water, flooding or weather exposure Other misuse Light-Commercial Installations For light-commercial applications, please contact GreenLeaf before purchase to confirm installation suitability and applicable warranty terms.
